This program is my commitment to preserving the art and integrity of Crazy Monkey Defense and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

How it Works

From Apprentice to Certified Trainer: A Structured Approach

Real Mentorship with a Master Coach: Direct guidance, real-time feedback, and hands-on support

Embark on a unique, 14-month apprenticeship under the direct mentorship of Coach Rodney King. Every two months, you’ll meet virtually for immersive Zoom sessions, where Rodney will personally guide you through seven carefully crafted curriculum sessions, culminating in your eight and final assessment session. Each session is designed to build both your personal skill set and your teaching abilities, equipping you not only to master Crazy Monkey or Monkey-Jits fundamentals, but to teach and inspire others on their own journey.

Access an Exclusive Community of Dedicated Modern Martial Artists

Connect with apprentices and trainers from around the world, each dedicated to the Crazy Monkey approach. This exclusive community offers a space to ask questions, troubleshoot challenges, and share insights, giving you the support and camaraderie needed on your journey to mastery. In addition to your virtual sessions with Rodney, you will also be taken through and have access to our Full Contact Living program, teaching pedagogy course, and our business program.

Your Own Classroom - Personalized Learning Hub

Every apprentice receives a dedicated virtual classroom on the School of Crazy Monkey platform. Here, you’ll find recordings of your live sessions with Coach Rodney, along with supplemental materials like lesson plans and resources—everything you need to stay on track. This ensures that, between live sessions, you can keep your learning focused and structured, making consistent progress in your journey to becoming a certified trainer.
